Sheep Licenses
Bighorn Sheep tags are very hard to draw. It takes a minimum of 3 preference points to draw. You obtain a weighted point for every year you apply for a license after you have accumulated 3 points.
Here are a few statistics for Bighorn Sheep in unit S12 in 2008.
Archery: 10 available tags going to 9 residents and 1 non resident. For these 10 tags 58 residents and 72 non-residents applied.
Rifle: 6 available tags going to 5 residents and 1 non resident. For these 6 tags 199 residents applied and 452 non residents applied. As you can see when you finally draw your sheep tag you want to be as prepared as possible and have the best information to be succesfull. Let CHI make your Hunt a success.
