What You Will Receive In Your Scouting Reports
Monthly scouting summary
You will receive a monthly scouting report starting in July.
You will get a report every month until your hunt begins.
These reports will give the following info:
- Population estimates,
- Where the majority of the animals have been seen in your unit,
- Size ranges of the animals in your unit
- Reports on road conditions
- Closures in the unit
Detailed personalized scouting report
Two weeks before the start of your hunt you will receive a detailed report based on the information you provide on your information form.
You will receive all pictures that were taken with a camera or a trail camera and given the location that the pictures were taken so you can make your own decision on the animal you would like to harvest.
Additionally you will receive:
- Detailed topo maps that show the exact location of feeding and bedding areas,
- Water holes and trails that the game are using.
- Exact GPS coordinates of all locations if you indicated that you want them on your information form.
- Report of the exact time of day the animals were seen using the locations given on the map.
If you need a campsite you will get the locations of several to choose from based on the information you provided.
If you desire a ground blind or tree stand location these will be marked on the map along with GPS coordinates.

Avoiding hunting pressure
Your scouting report is based on what you want from your hunt so any information given in your detailed report will only be given to you and not shared by other hunters.
All clients of Colorado Hunting Innovations will receive there own reports and will not overlap areas.
Although Colorado Hunting Innovations will not give the same scouting report to anybody but you we can not guarantee that other hunters will not be in the area as all areas scouted are on public lands.
